About Charlie
Hi! I’m a newly qualified doctor currently practising medicine, and I offer personalised, engaging online tutoring for A-Level and GCSE students in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. I studied at the University of Southampton and graduated with a Bachelors degree in medicine, bachelors degree in surgery and a masters degree in medical sciences. (BMBS MMedSCi, A Levels - AAA GCSE's - x6 A*, x2 A, x1 B) Teaching has always been a big part of what I do—whether it was helping friends through exams, mentoring in sixth form, or now teaching medical students. Ages: 13 - 18 Level: A Levels, GCSE Lessons tailored to you – I’ll identify your strengths and weaknesses and build a plan that challenges you while keeping things engaging. A teaching style that works for you – Whether you learn best by reading, practising, or discussing, I’ll adapt to your way of learning. Smart exam preparation – I use intermittent practice exams to track progress and refine our focus areas. Beyond the lesson – I encourage students to do work outside of our sessions, including recapping past topics and exploring new ones to build confidence before we cover them. Making studying feel manageable – I use techniques like the Pomodoro method to keep sessions productive and stress-free. Flexible lesson times – Sessions are 1-2 hours long, depending on what works best for you.
