About James
I am a Newly Qualified Teacher, having recently achieved a Distinction in my PGCE from Durham University. Over my teaching career I have taught Geography lessons from year 7 to A-level. During my undergraduate degree I tutored GCSE Maths and Geography students and prepared them for their exam. I have a 2:1 in Geography from Newcastle University, an A in A-level Economics and a B in A-level Maths.

I believe the best way to tutor students is in an enjoyable and personalised lesson. To achieve this result I like to get to know my students and tailor the learning to suit their needs and interests. Each student is an individual and therefore needs individual lessons. That is what I will provide by tailoring my activities and learning exercises to suit each student. I will take the time to focus in on specific topics, techniques and strategies that my students needs help on and use differing and creative methods to improve their knowledge, skills and exam technique in these areas.
