About Simthandile
I am currently an Honours candidate in Chemistry, just finished my undergraduate studies majoring in Chemistry and Physiology. I have worked as a tutor tutoring grade 7s to grade 12s; it was fun. Getting to interact with different age groups, learning about their behavior. I, for one, know that not every day one makes progress, but the little that you do will get you somewhere. Having a goal and knowing what you want will make you want to wake up and try every day. I am very passionate about Maths and Science as a whole, and being exposed to that has made my love for them grow. Through it, we can change the world, and I am working on a project for my thesis that aims at helping Africa in decreasing the money used to get medication from outside, but instead of that, we make our own, saving costs. Then that makes it worthwhile teaching Science and Maths because I know some of my learners would one day turn into scientists that would change our Continent for the better.

I have worked as a tutor face to face, had an encounter with the problem areas, and where learners and students make mistakes. I, for one, was a student and was observant of my mistakes and how to solve them. Tutoring is not telling one the answer but walking together in getting to the answer, meaning that even if they encounter a similar problem, they will be able to tackle it. I start from where one seems to have a problem.
