About Elaine
I am a qualified, fun, energetic and creative teacher.
I have my Bachelors in Education and years of experience teaching.
I have traveled to many different countries over the last 10 years. These countries include the UK, Taiwan, Singapore, Bali, Cambodia and China. I love traveling and learned so much about different cultures from my students, fellow local teachers and the country I was residing in at that moment in time.
I have worked in Private, Public and online institutions over the years, teaching English and Science. In Cambodia I had the privilege to teach all the subjects according to the English National Curriculum.

As an English teacher who has taught in many different countries, I would say I have a very diverse teaching strategy. I believe both teacher-centered (teacher to student), and student-centered (student to student) teaching methods are very important. I love to make use of visual and audio teaching aids to help students learn easier and faster.
I am fluent and can teach both English and Afrikaans as a first language.
I love to make my lessons fun and exciting, because the more fun you have, the more you learn.
Over the last 10 years I have had a lot of experience with students ranging from 3 - 18years of age. I hold a Bachelors in Education for high school and university level.
