About Awie
I am a registered Biokineticist. I did my internship year at the Institute for Biokinetics at the NWU PUK, following which I ran my own practice during 2021, and I have been working in Tzaneen as a locum Biokineticist since November 2021. I have worked with a wide variety of patients, from Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and stroke patients, to elite rugby players with ACL injuries, and recreational bodybuilders. Helping patients and clients achieve their goals, whether it is regaining functionality post-injury, or elevating their physique to the next level, is my absolute passion. By teaching others how the human body works and is put together, I hope that some of that passion can pass on, and find its way into the work of a student one day.

I am very thorough with explaining concepts, practically and theoretically, so that my students can not only understand the study material, but also why they need to understand it.
