About Cailin
I am a very passionate, responsible and compassionate person. I take my work seriously with a generous sprinkling of fun and find it very satisfying and meaningful to help students understand topics that may frustrate or confuse them. When I'm not studying, I love to read, play guitar and train in karate.

Above all when teaching, I aim to meet the student where they are in their understanding, adapting with each session to explain the subject in ways that make sense to them. I love connecting to my students and helping them to find their personal interest in the subject. In a typical lesson, we will work together to develop a deeper and more confident grasp on the material covered in the classroom that week. Closer to tests and exams, revision becomes more of a focus and we spend time going through past papers and discussing practicals done in class. Throughout the learning process, we use a vast variety of tools like physical props, whiteboards, songs, acronyms and humour for an engaged and fun experience.
While I wrote the NSC matric papers in 2020, I am certain that I would be able to assist with any curriculum for students from grade four to twelve.
