About Kelsey
I not only teach science but I have first hand experience working within the sector.
My background is conservation based, I have been a part of turtle conservation in Costa Rica and aided in lemur and crocodile research in Madagascar. I then worked in veterinary microbiology for 3 years before becoming a teacher.
I love science, I loved being a scientist and now I love sparking that same joy I feel for science in other people.

Science is such a hands on and engaging subject. It influences everything in our day to day life. Securing the knowledge you need to be successful on your science education can be a very useful stepping stone in life.
I believe science education should reflect the essential pillars of science; it should enthuse, excite, encourage questioning and enquiry about the world around us and teach us the skills we need to think critically.
