About Fannie
I enjoy teaching the subject that I used to love the most back in secondary school and watching my tutees grow not just in grades but also in mentality towards doing math questions. I taught 4 students (lower and upper sec E and A maths) over the past 5 years. What I really treasure is the bond and friendliness I have with my tutees. Also, sharing their joy when we see improvement in their mathematical instincts and of course, exam grades / test results :D

I believe in deepening the understanding of concepts rather than practicing as many questions as possible. Variations of questions can be endless, and many times exams can set questions that is structured in a way that is not common or similar to past year questions. Of course, we still have to practice questions, but I want to focus more on the grasping of concepts to tackle the exams rather than memorising steps / solutions. I hope to create a learning mindset of growth for my student rather than boring robot-style mugging methods. I would feel very accomplished if I see my student slowly enjoying mathematics as much as I do.-
