About Kiran
I am a final year BSc Adult Nursing student set to qualify in July 2018 from King's College London. Biology was always my favourite subject at school and it has been integrated into my 3 year degree. Due to the nature of my course I have clinical experience in a variety of places (e.g. cardiovascular, thoracics, A&E etc.) so my knowledge of biology at GCSE and A-level have been put into good practice which helps consolidate my knowledge.
I achieved an A in my GCSE Biology and a 1st in my Applied Human Biology and Acute Medical Conditions modules in University.

I like to break down the course syllabus into topics and set a realistic time frame for studying each topic. Using revision guides is helpful in guiding the revision but also sets a boundary for deeper discussion about the topic where the student can ask questions. I like to set short answer questions for the student to complete so we can assess the areas that may need more focus. Past paper questions will be given at the end of each session and the student will be encouraged to practice past paper questions in their own time to help prepare them for the exam and practice exam technique. The first 10 minutes of each session will be spent going over what was discussed last session and identify any topics that need to be repeated.
