About Ahmed
I used to work as a swimming instructor for all ages and learning styles, so I'm good with breaking down hard-to-understand concepts into simpler terms and working on them step-by-step. As a nursing student, I have a great understanding of human biology, anatomy, genetics, as well as mathematics and chemistry. In my experience teaching, I've worked with individuals of different ages, learning styles, and with special needs/learning disabilities. I understand the importance of being patient with students and really trying to cater to their unique learning style. There is never a one-size-fits-all method to teaching, and I think my ability to adapt to certain needs will really help you excel!

Everyone learns differently. Some can understand a concept just by hearing someone explain it. Others need a more visual representation. Some may even need some hands-on learning to really grasp the content. I find it important to understand an individuals learning style first, and adapt my lesson plans from there. A typical lesson would include an auditory as well as visual explanation of the topic to start. And include some practice problems to really solidify that knowledge. The easiest way to remember something is through active recall, which often times means testing yourself, whether that may be with practice quizzes or flashcards, I am here to make sure you really understand a concept before moving on. My lessons will be catered more towards middle schoolers and high schoolers.
