About Jody
Hi! I’m a Registered Nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Nurse Executive Leadership and professional experience in pediatric orthopedic nursing, care coordination, quality improvement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and nursing leadership.
I understand how challenging nursing school can be, especially when you’re trying to connect what you learn in a textbook to real-world patient care. My goal is to break complex nursing concepts into understandable, practical information while helping you strengthen your clinical reasoning and confidence.
I can work with nursing students at different levels, including pre-nursing, ADN/BSN, and graduate nursing students. I especially enjoy helping with pediatric nursing, nursing fundamentals, clinical reasoning, care plans, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, leadership and management, APA writing, presentations, and MSN/Nurse Executive coursework.
My tutoring style is patient, supportive, organized, and judgment-free. Sessions are personalized to what you need help with, whether that’s preparing for an exam, understanding a difficult concept, reviewing an assignment, or developing stronger study habits.
My goal isn’t just to help you get through the assignment—it’s to help you understand the “why” behind nursing so you can become a more confident student and future nurse.

Every tutoring session is personalized to your goals.
We’ll start by identifying what you’re struggling with and then work through the material step-by-step. I use practical examples and real-world nursing scenarios to make difficult concepts easier to understand.
Depending on your needs, sessions may include reviewing nursing concepts, practicing NCLEX-style questions, working through clinical scenarios, improving care plans, reviewing assignments, discussing leadership concepts, strengthening academic writing, or preparing for exams and presentations.
I can also help graduate nursing students with leadership, quality improvement, evidence-based practice, project management concepts, and Nurse Executive coursework.
I focus on teaching and guiding rather than simply providing answers. You’ll leave our session with a better understanding of the material and strategies you can use independently.
