About Lim
Hi! I am a patient and approachable tutor who enjoys helping primary school students build confidence in Mathematics. I believe many children struggle not because they are weak, but because the concepts were never explained in a way that suits them. My goal is to simplify difficult ideas into clear, logical steps so students feel less stressed and more motivated to learn.

My lessons are tailored to the Singapore MOE Primary Math syllabus and focus on building strong fundamentals, problem-solving skills and exam confidence. I first assess the student’s understanding, then customise worksheets and step-by-step methods suited to their learning pace. I emphasise concepts such as number sense, model drawing, heuristics and systematic working, not memorisation.
Lessons are interactive and patient-guided, ensuring students truly understand why a method works. I also teach answering techniques, common question traps and time management for school tests and PSLE preparation.
