About Yakov
I am a New York State–certified Spanish teacher (Grades 7–12) with a Master's Degree in Spanish Education and experience teaching both middle and high school students. I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated, capable, and prepared to succeed. A typical lesson includes a brief warm‑up, a focused skill or grammar point, guided practice, and an opportunity for students to use the language in speaking or writing. I tailor each session to the student’s level, goals, and learning style, adjusting pacing and support as needed.
What sets me apart is my experience as a certified Spanish teacher (Grades 7–12) with classroom practice at both the middle and high school levels.
