About Victoria
My name is Victoria! I am a NYS certified teacher for ages birth-6th grade. I have experience teaching 2nd grade and 5th grade. I have bridged the gap in my students increasing their skills by over a year's worth in the time in my classroom. I also privately tutor students who gain new skills every week by understanding the how and why behind spoken and written English. My goal is to ensure students have a true understanding of the rules in the English language to prevent regression.

My lessons are geared towards elementary aged sudents or college level students who are in the school of education. In a typical lesson with me for elementary students, I will meet the student where they are with their skills. I will determine their current skill set and provide explicit instruction on the next skill sets needed to improve their reading or writing ability. I will work with the student on the specific topic or skill they need the most help with! For college level students, I will help the student to understand best practices and provide examples of how to teach specific topics.
