About Ari
I studied Comparative Literature and American History at NYU and since graduating in 2021 I have been consistently tutoring students on a variety of subjects in the humanities, essay writing and Test prep. I have spent some time in the professional writing field in both advertising and television and I like to use what I have learned to help my students. I have also worked consistently as a chess teacher for beginners and intermediate which I strongly believed made me a much better overall tutor. I am qualified to tutor all history APs as well as the SAT and ACT.

In addition to this I have a wide array of resources from my time as a tutor to help students with reading comprehension, creative writing or test prep. Whether it’s essay writing or chess I help my students learn from the best. We look at renowned chess games or short stories and work together to see why they are so brilliant and how we can learn from them.
