About Indiana
I am a creative writer in my free time with over 2 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I started out co-teaching poetry to middle schoolers in San Francisco. After which I worked for a summer doing art workshops with after school youth throughout the Bay Area. During my college career I was a teaching assistant to an oceanography professor at San Francisco State University working with many foreign students long term on new vocabulary and tutoring. I also volunteered at OASIS in San Francisco as a creative writing teaching assistant to teenage girls at risk.

My teaching method is utilizing as many senses as possible when presented with foreign vocabulary. I also look at etymology and cognates. I believe the best possible way to learn is to immerse oneself in the new language. I am also intimately familiar with the intimidation that comes with learning a foreign language because English is my second language but it has become a huge door opener.
