About Nimisha
I help you build real understanding in math and science so you’re not just memorizing steps, but actually learning how and why concepts work. My focus is on making difficult topics clear and helping you become confident solving problems on your own.
Each session is structured and purposeful. We identify what you’re struggling with, break it down step by step, and work through practice until you can apply the skills independently. I make sure you fully understand each idea before moving on.
You’ll learn in a supportive, professional environment where questions are encouraged and confusion is turned into clarity. I work with middle school and high school students in subjects like algebra, geometry, algebra 2, introductory science, and early computer science.

My tutoring approach focuses on building real understanding, not memorization. I break down math and science concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations and focus on the reasoning behind each method, not just the final answer. I use guided problem-solving, real examples, and constant check-ins to make sure concepts actually make sense before moving on.
A typical lesson starts with figuring out exactly what you’re struggling with, then reviewing the core idea in a simple, clear way. After that, we work through examples together, gradually increasing difficulty while I ask questions to check understanding. At the end, you try similar problems on your own so you can apply what you learned independently with support if needed.
What sets me apart is that I focus on depth over speed. Instead of just helping you finish assignments, I make sure you actually understand how to approach different types of problems. I explain concepts in multiple ways until they click and focus on building confidence through understanding.
These lessons are for middle school and high school students, especially those in algebra, geometry, algebra 2, introductory science, and early computer science who want to strengthen their skills and feel more confident in class.
