About Katie
I have been OBSESSED with all things music from a young age. At 6 I took up guitar, at 8 started playing flute and at 12 began playing alto saxophone. After winning numerous group music competitions with multiple schools on flute, I began seriously playing alto saxophone in grade 10. I was able to master the instrument within about a year and soon became famous for my jazz solos. During this time, I also began playing bass guitar. Graduating from high school, I won a music scholarship and have greatly missed playing in a both a concert and jazz band since!
