About Dr Kyle
I have ADHD, dyslexia, irlens syndrome, and autism spectrum disorder. Unfortunately, this means I have extensive experience with the difficulties facing those of us with these unavoidable challenges.
Primarily due to these challenges, I did not achieve NCEA level 3 and performed poorly throughout my schooling. Despite these failures, I now have three bachelors degrees, a graduate diploma, and a phd. I am an experienced teacher in a variety of high school subjects and currently teach part time at UC.

Learning difficulties can be, and often are, devastating for your education and self esteem. I believe that the mitigation and management of our learning disabilities is the most important factor in the education of those facing the difficulties they bring.
I am an experienced teacher who faces similar challenges to the students I tutor. This allows me a high chance of finding something that works with your student. Due to the variable approaches required, a description of a typical lesson can't be provided.
Our first lesson will ideally be a walk together through one of Christchurch's gorgeous parks. We will chat about your schooling experience, the challenges you face as you perceive them, and what has allowed you to learn effectively and comfortably in the past. This will also allow you the opportunity to ask me any questions you might have about who I am and what my experiences have been
