About Hristina
Before obtaining a PGCE in MFL at Exeter University I worked as a Teaching and Languages Assistant for 2 years at a Community College, where I supported pupils with diverse educational needs and students who had had to flee very challenging lives. I was simultaneously providing revision sessions for English Language and English Literature for AQA Exam Board, conversational Spanish lessons for adults, and Spanish lessons for AQA GCSE. I have always had a passion for teaching and helping students with adverse backgrounds achieve their full potential.

I am an experienced Teacher of Spanish at KS3 to KS5 and French at KS3.
After completing my PGCE and obtaining a QTS being an Outstanding Teacher I have worked in a few schools, predominantly Boys' Schools. In my latest school, the MFL department completed an OFSTED inspection obtaining an Outstanding status as a result. In GCSE Exams 2023 100% of my students achieved grades 5-9, with over 60% achieving grades 7-9.
My lessons are tailored to the need of the student, I am well versed in the Spanish AQA GCSE mark scheme and I specialize in exam strategies to increase outcomes. I am also experienced in teaching Edexcel GCE A-level (Paper 2 - El labirinto del Fauno and Bodas de Sangre) where I use up-to-date authentic resources.
