About Alan
I am a current Nanotechnology student who graduated high school in 2017, therefore having valuable experience that can be very beneficial for upcoming VCE students as they enter the final and decisive chapter of high school. Having tutored refugee children at St Albans tutoring, I have experience in engaging children and motivating them through the struggles of school. Now I would like to implement this experience in mentoring upcoming VCE students to give them the best beginning possible to their completion of high school.

I believe in teaching methods that provide the students with the tools to understand any problem and solve them. This means having a strong base and building to the advanced levels. Therefore, I base my teaching method on providing my students the opportunity figure out and to implement the new skills they learn. Encouraging them to make mistakes, and to learn from them. I mediate this process depending on the student. I am flexible and mould my teaching method to how the student learns, engaging them in the subject as much as possible.
