About Mariami
I have finished the best mathematics school in my county, but getting in wasn't easy. I put in tremendous amount of work. I believe energy is never wasted. If you put in enough work, the result will come!
Have been participating in olympiads since 8th grade and in the recent olympiad I have the ninth best score in the country 24/25.
I am fluent in English, I scored 104/120 on TOEFL (27-reading, 30-listening, 28-speaking, 19-writing).

I know how hard math can be if you are just memorizing the rules. It doesn't have to be like that. If you thoroughly understand what you are doing, math can be easy. I believe that math is not just a set of rules that you have to memorize, and I try to help my students understand the same. Math can be very logical and easy if you know what you are doing and the exact reason why you are doing it.
Instead of only teaching principles and making you memorize each solution, I am determined to help you understand every problem. I know exactly how to explain new material to students so they understand it clearly.
Every single one of my students has shown huge improvement, which was clearly reflected in both their participation in class and their grades.
Communication is very important. Students should be able to say what they are struggling with and what they do not understand. I always make my students feel comfortable enough to express their difficulties, but never so comfortable that they think it is okay to skip homework or lessons.
L E S S O N P L A N:
You will have homework, and we will go through everything that you do not understand.
Nothing that we have not done in class will be assigned to you. The purpose of homework is to help you learn how to solve problems independently.
I am ready to help middle or high school students who are struggling with mathematics or who want to deepen their knowledge.
