About Lucille
I am a current 3rd year Maths and Philosophy student at the University of Bristol, who achieved A* in both maths and further maths A Levels. As a current maths student, I know that it takes time and effort to properly understand mathematical concepts and be able to apply them to previously unseen questions. In my 10 years of studying maths, I have always endeavoured to help other students in my class as well as the years below, and in doing so I have learnt that everyone has a different style of learning: what works for one student may not work for another. That is why I always offer a personal approach to teaching maths and explain concepts in different ways until something sticks. Maths is for everyone! The explanation sometimes just needs to be reworded. I look forward to helping you excel in maths and hope you find it as fun as I do!

One on one maths tutoring sessions breaking down mathematical concepts into foundational building blocks in order to create a better understanding of how maths works. Breaking down and understanding maths in this way will allow students to recreate mathematical methods and solve similar problems, as well as think creatively in order to solve problems they have never encountered before. We will largely do exam-style questions as practice is the best way to prepare for exams. As a current university maths student who recently sat A levels, I can relate to my students and I can offer advice and guidance from my personal experience. Tutoring is available for 11+ exams, GCSEs, maths and further maths A levels, and anything in between. Sessions are from 30 minutes to 1 hour long.
