About Xara
I am a professionally trained actor (BA Hons Acting, 2:1) offering structured online acting and confidence coaching for young people aged 8–18.
I have built experience as a working actor, appearing in several short films, theatre productions and music videos. My most recent television credit was on the BBC drama, Casualty, where I portrayed the character Danielle Holt.
Alongside private coaching, I have worked as a drama teacher with established UK performing arts schools including Stagecoach Performing Arts, Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools, and Make Believe Theatre School. This experience has given me strong classroom management skills, safeguarding awareness, and the ability to nurture students at different stages of development.
I started my teaching journey because I have seen first-hand how powerful acting training can be, not just for performance, but for confidence, communication and self-belief. Some students begin quietly and unsure of themselves. With the right guidance, structure and encouragement, they learn to speak clearly, hold space, trust their instincts and express themselves with confidence.
That transformation is why I teach.
My sessions are calm, focused and purposeful. I create a space where students feel safe to take creative risks, while also being guided with direct, constructive feedback. I value discipline and strong preparation, while ensuring students feel supported, understood and encouraged.
Acting is about understanding, clarity and presence. Whether a student is preparing for LAMDA exams, GCSE Drama, auditions, or simply wants to feel more confident speaking and performing, my aim is to help them develop both strong technique and genuine self-assurance.
Every student is treated as an individual. I meet them where they are, and I guide them forward with intention.

My approach is calm, focused and technically grounded. I work with students to build not only performance ability, but lasting self-assurance, articulation and presence.
My sessions are purposeful and carefully structured. Students are guided to understand text deeply, make intentional performance choices and develop vocal and physical control. I combine warmth with high standards, ensuring young performers feel supported while being challenged to grow.
