About James
I am a current medical student at the University of Manchester, with a long history of tutoring family and friends through difficult exams. I have personal A*/9s success in the subjects of Biology and Chemistry at both GCSE and A-level and did work whilst at school tutoring individuals through their GCSEs. I am committed to ensuring that students have the confidence to enjoy and participate in these subjects whilst also achieving high grades and other success. I personally believe that time and effort will always pay off, and would love to help others achieve the best that they can.

I am looking for students in the GCSE age range, and I am interested in both doing targeted revision for key exams, or regular sessions to cover content as the course progresses. I am a firm believer in breaking down concepts of Biology and Chemistry into bite-size portions to enable easy revision, learning, and less stressful exam periods. I would aim to have 1 hour lessons, with the potential for double sessions, but I am up for discussing that individually based on individual needs. As a current medical student, I have extensive experience in revision strategy, timetabling, and action - and I am more than happy to work through large volumes of work and share my own tips on how to revise for specific sections. Having achieved A*A*A in Chemistry, Biology, and English, I have remained interested in helping others through what I found a stressful period and have tutored others for the last 3/4 years. I found genuine enjoyment from these topics as I went through school and I would hope to share that with those I tutor.
