About Muhammad
Hi! I'm Muhammad Tahir, an Economics and Data Science student at LUMS with a passion for teaching and making learning enjoyable. Over the past three years, I've delivered more than 800 hours of online tutoring, helping Cambridge O Level and A Level students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
My interest in Economics extends beyond the classroom. I was awarded a Higher Distinction in the World Economics Cup, an achievement that reflects both my enthusiasm for the subject and my commitment to academic excellence.
Beyond academics, I believe education should create opportunities to make a positive impact. I founded Project Behtar Kal, a community initiative through which I helped raise funds for charitable projects supporting underprivileged communities, including improving educational resources and assisting orphanages. Hence i was able to impact the lives of 80 widows and 210 orphans. That experience strengthened my leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills.
Outside of teaching, you'll usually find me playing football, reading novels, or watching movies. I believe students learn best when they enjoy the process, so I aim to create a friendly, supportive environment where asking questions is encouraged and mistakes are seen as part of learning.

Every student learns differently, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. During our first lesson, I assess your current understanding, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and create a personalized study plan based on your goals—whether that's passing an exam, improving your grades, or aiming for an A*.
My lessons typically last 75 minutes and are highly interactive. Rather than lecturing, I encourage students to think through problems, ask questions, and explain concepts in their own words. This helps build genuine understanding instead of short-term memorization.
For Economics and Accounting, I simplify complex theories and calculations into clear, logical steps using real-world examples, sports, business cases, and even video game analogies whenever they make learning more engaging. Once the concepts are understood, we reinforce them through structured practice, past papers, and examiner-focused exam techniques.
Over the past three years, I have delivered 800+ hours of online tutoring to Cambridge O Level and A Level students. My teaching focuses not only on achieving excellent grades but also on developing confidence, critical thinking, and effective study habits that students can use beyond the classroom.
My lessons are ideal for Cambridge O Level and A Level students studying Economics and Accounting, as well as O Level Mathematics students who want to strengthen their understanding, improve exam performance, and reach their full academic potential.
