About Vanessa
I am an ESO and Bachillerato English teacher, Spanish native with C2 (Proficiency) level of English. I help primary, secondary and baccalaureate students with English, teach EvAU and English level certificate preparation (Cambridge, Trinity, Oxford). I also teach general English to adults -beginner to advanced level- and university students. EvAU exams and Writing tasks (First, Preliminary, Advanced, ISE ...) available.
I adapt my materials and methodology to each student, context and goal. Every student has a different background knoeledge, motivation and past experiences with English, so it is important to take into account where the students come from, where they are now and where they want or need to go in order to customise teaching to their learning style.
I have experience teaching students of all ages, from babies to adults, in official education (schools) and non-official education (academies). I am passionate about my profession and I try to pass it on to my students so they can enjoy English.
Given the current situation, I teach on-line but in the future I can have face to face students at my home (Embajadores area). I am resuming my classes after a maternity leave, so I will start with one-to-one classes that can turn into groups, and therefore be cheaper, if levels and schedules of different students fit together.

I plan my lessons so as to be able to detect and address the contents and skills in which the student needs to focus most. With an essentially practice-based approach, I always try to apply gamification and cognitive breaks in my classes.

Details
Group classes (from 2 students) for 9€/hour.
Rates may differ for higher level students or if off-line correcting work is necessary.
EvAU and certificates of English correction available off-line. Correction off-line plus 15 minutes of online feedback included in the class rate.
Classes cancelled with less than 24 hours will be charged with 50% of the hourly rate and cannot be recovered.
