About Ivy
With a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering and 6+ years of teaching, I focus on jazz and blues guitar improvisation. I love helping students build both technical skill and their own improvisational voice.
Lessons cover modal scales, arpeggios, dominant seventh theory, and bebop phrasing. Students range from hobbyists to professionals, Intermediate to Advanced levels. I provide practical exercises, creative challenges, and performance preparation.
My approach is supportive, interactive, and goal-focused. Students develop confidence, musical understanding, and expressive ability. Lessons combine theory, technique, and improvisation in a meaningful way.
