About Heaven
Hi! I’m Nevaeh Midru, a high schooler who loves fashion and my faith. I’ve always excelled in school and discovered a gift for helping others learn. I’m patient, positive, and love making things easy to understand. Outside of studying, I’ve played lots of sports including competitive gymnastics, swimming, club volleyball, karate, and soccer — so I know how important dedication and teamwork are! I’d love to help your child build confidence and succeed in math and English.

A typical math lesson includes: • Quick warm-up problems to review what they already know. • Main lesson with step-by-step explanations of new concepts, using real-life examples they can relate to. • Guided practice, working through problems together so they see exactly how to do it. • Independent practice, where they try problems on their own while I support them. • Review & feedback, celebrating what they did well and setting goals for next time. My goal is to make math less stressful, more understandable, and even fun!

Heaven is such a sweet and understanding girl! She offered to tutor my son for free because of the joy it brought her for teaching in Grade 9! He was really struggling in math because someone in the family passed but she brought him back up to a B+ in 3 weeks! I was so proud of him and her. I definitely recommend her.
