About Luis
My name is Luis, and I am from Madrid, where I currently live. I have been a Spanish for foreigners teacher for more than 25 years.
I have lived in the United States and Japan for more than 20 years. I have taught Spanish as a First and Second Language and English as a Second Language in companies, institutes, universities, and currently online.
I am a certified Spanish teacher, and I also hold a TESOL certification.

Each student has a specific reason for learning a language - whether for business, vacation, or just for fun. My goal is to respect the needs of each student, providing them with the tools that best meet their needs, motivation, and interests.
But I also believe that an essential thing in language learning is enjoying learning it. So, therefore, I try to make my classes fun and dynamic. I love talking and asking questions, and I encourage my students to do the same. “The more you talk, the more you learn.”
I will focus on helping you develop your conversational skills and communicate in real-life situations, both in terms of speaking and understanding, to improve your skills in the four skills (grammar and vocabulary, reading, pronunciation, and writing).
I forgot to tell you that I also have long experience preparing for the Spanish DELE and SIELE Certificates from beginner to C2.
