About Greg
I am a retired Mechanical Engineer who was almost a professional football player. For the last 10 years I have been teaching and tutoring math, science and Mechanical Engineering at both the college level and mostly at the high school level. I also teach both Chess and Bridge. BTW I wrote a book on math test taking skills and offer unique tutoring with respect to exams like the ACT. Perhaps that is the reason my students call me the Wizard.

I think it is important to teach understanding, not just knowledge and procedure. When possible, I also like to show students several ways to solve a problem and let them decide which method they prefer. I like to make the lesson fun.
