About Minho
Hello! I'm Minho Sung, currently studying Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London. I spent most of my school years abroad and graduated from an international school in Germany with the IB Diploma in 2024. At the beginning of the IB, I struggled with the fast-paced lessons and complex concepts. However, through building effective study habits and receiving tutoring myself, I gradually gained confidence, achieving both short-term improvements and a deeper understanding of the subjects. Based on this experience, I aim to offer personalized lessons tailored to each student's learning style and needs.

For IB chemistry, it is critical to have a strong understanding of the concepts and exam questions rather than relying on simple memorisation.
In my lessons, I will highlight the most important concepts and explain them thoroughly using my personal notes that have been updated to reflect the recent syllabus changes. Once the student is comfortable with the concepts, we will move on to solving past paper questions, which will allow the student to further familiarize themselves with the content and the question styles.
Having applied to 12+ universities in the US and UK, I can also offer support and advice for a variety of university application processes, such as the Common App essay, UCAS Personal Statement, SAT, Oxford PAT exam, Oxford/MIT Interview, etc.
