About Mthunzi
# Hello, I’m Mthunzi!
I am a passionate and dedicated educator who believes that learning should be **creative, enjoyable and meaningful**. My journey into teaching comes from my love for working with people, sharing knowledge and helping learners discover their own abilities.
I successfully completed my **Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at STADIO Higher Education**, with a focus on **Visual Art, Creative Arts and Technology**. I have also gained practical teaching experience through student teaching and working as a substitute teacher, where I had the opportunity to work with learners in different grades and subjects.
My passion for teaching goes beyond simply helping learners achieve good marks. I want to help students **understand, explore and believe in themselves**. This is especially important in Visual Art, where every learner has the opportunity to express their ideas, creativity and unique perspective.
I am interested in teaching because I believe that education can open doors and change lives. I enjoy seeing that moment when a learner finally understands something they have been struggling with, or when they gain the confidence to say, *“I can do this.”*
As your online tutor, I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, practise and grow without feeling judged.
Whether you are looking to improve your Visual Art skills, Creative Arts knowledge, Technology, or isiZulu, I would be happy to be part of your learning journey.
Let’s learn, create and grow together!

I successfully completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at STADIO Higher Education, specialising in Visual Art, Creative Arts and Technology. My teacher-training experience has given me a strong understanding of learner-centred teaching, curriculum delivery and supporting learners with different learning needs.
I have practical teaching experience as a student teacher and substitute teacher, where I taught and supported learners in subjects including Creative Arts, Social Sciences, Life Skills and Technology. I also have experience working with learners in different age groups and creating engaging learning activities.
In addition to my teaching experience, I have a strong passion for Visual Art and digital creativity, with practical skills in drawing, creative projects, digital art, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.
I offer online lessons in Visual Art and isiZulu, providing personalised support with:
Visual Art theory and practical work
Drawing, painting and creative techniques
Creative Arts projects and assignments
Art portfolio development
Exam and test preparation
isiZulu language and communication
Reading, writing and comprehension
Grammar and language structures
Homework and academic support
My goal is to create a supportive and engaging online learning environment where learners can build confidence, improve their academic performance and develop their creativity.
