About Ruth
I have a great deal of experience as a tutor and I love teaching my students. I aim to help them to have more confidence when it comes to their exams and enable them to reach their full potential.
It's great to get to know each individual student as a worthwhile person who deserves to do their absolute best.
I am a legitimate professional tutor, who likes to share my academic knowledge with children and teenagers of all abilities, with a view to inspiring them to 'aim high' and achieve their desired success.

My personal approach to tutoring is to use the following methods:-
1. Problem solving.
2. Learning by doing.
3. Playing games.
4. Recitation.
My lessons are either 30 minutes or 1 hour long and I teach from KS1 up to and including GCSE, for ages 5 to 15 years.
My qualifications are a BA degree from the Open University and a TEFL certificate. I also have an ALCM diploma in piano. In addition,
I have 25 years experience as a self-employed tutor of English, French and music and 2 years as an online English teacher on contract with Education First.
