About Jonathan
Overview: Examiner for major examination board for both A Level Economics and A Level Business Studies. Assistant Headteacher KS5. Experienced teacher and tutor of Economics, Business Studies and Mathematics. I have years of experience teaching and tutoring students to achieve exceptional results. Economics and Business: Formerly the Head of Economics and Business at one of London's top schools, my Economics and Business results at both A level and GCSE have consistently been Outstanding year after year. I am currently teaching Year 12 and 13 A level Economics, A Level and GCSE Business Studies, Vocational Business Year 12 and top sets Mathematics KS3 at a high performing secondary school in North London. I am also Lead verifier for Vocational Business qualifications KS4 and 5. Mathematics: having taught/tutored students from years 4-11, I have successfully prepared students for Key Stage 2 and KS3 tests and GCSE examinations. Further Detail: I have been a teacher of Economics, Business and Mathematics for over 20 years with outstanding results. I am currently Assistant Headteacher in charge of a very successful Sixth Form in North London. I have expert knowledge of all major examination boards for all of these subjects. I have also been the Oxbridge and UCAS coordinator for over 15 years in two of London`s most successful Sixth Forms. University Applications: With specialist knowledge of the whole UCAS process I have overseen nearly 3000 successful applications to leading Russell group universities including Oxbridge, LSE, Imperial, Warwick and many more. This year alone I have overseen 13 Oxbridge offers, Medicine, dentistry and Veterinary offers and over 80% of the cohort receiving offers from Russell group universities. *Head of Sixth Form in two of London's most successful Sixth Forms. *Degree in Economics; Postgraduate qualifications from UCL including NPQH (Headteacher’s qualification) Most recent results: A Level Economics 100% A*-B including numerous A*s and students that went onto Oxbridge. A Level Business Studies 100% A*-B GCSE Business Studies 100% A*-C, 64% A* BTEC Business Level 3 100% D* 13 Oxbridge offers. Advanced DBS Previously I was the Director of Business & Enterprise in a Business Specialist School and Head of Faculty Economics and Business in one of London's top schools.
