About Sara
I am a committed piano tutor with 14 years of teaching experience, working with students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I am passionate about making piano learning structured, enjoyable, and rewarding.
My teaching methodology emphasises personalised instruction, clear communication, and patience. I carefully assess each student’s level and goals and create lesson plans that build strong fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and note reading.
I also include music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to develop well-rounded musicianship. Lessons are interactive and engaging, often incorporating songs, creative exercises, and performance practice.
I focus on simplifying complex concepts, helping students overcome challenges, and maintaining motivation. I guide students in developing consistent practice routines and self-discipline while fostering confidence and a love for music.

Creativity is encouraged in every lesson. Students are guided to improvise, compose, and explore different musical genres, helping them develop artistic confidence and a personal musical voice. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and learning style, fostering steady progress and long-term growth.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This methodology develops technical mastery, expressive skills, and musical understanding. My aim is to inspire students to become confident, skilled, and lifelong musicians.
