About Ethan
I am a senior neuroscience major at Colorado College, with a minor in biochemistry. I have over a year's experience tutoring students at Colorado College in neuroscience, molecular biology, genetics, general and organic chemistry and biochemistry. Many students whom I've worked with have not only done well in their courses, but have also reported their passion for science growing as they develop their understanding of the material on a more fundamental level, and in a more curiosity-driven fashion.
I am currently applying to medical school, and while that takes up a lot of my time, I derive a significant amount of meaning from teaching others, and I'm looking forward to working with new students!

I am happy to work with students on problems from their classes, or to review or teach content itself. If students have problems or questions that they would like to work on, I will address those at the beginning of the session, and hopefully, in working through their areas of confusion I will be able to help the student gain a more foundational understanding of the concepts being assessed. After addressing any problems or questions, I am happy to continue the session by going over any content that the student doesn't feel confident in their understanding of, and I try to work in problems of my own creation throughout the session.
I am also happy to work with students on preparation for standardized tests like the MCAT or GRE.
