Very good teacher and also very good person

I have been privately tutored by Maria for 8 months now and my spanish has improved dramatically from a very basic level to now a good level where I recent had a holiday to Tenerife. I was capable of having full conversations with locals, order in Spanish for my partner in restaurants and even understand Spanish movies on Netflix.

What I like about Maria is her attention to detail, she is really enthusiastic about pronunciations of the words. I found it very difficult with my English accent at the start but Maria was very reassuring and had lots of good exercises and techniques to adapt more of spanish pronunciation.

Maria’s tutoring classes usually involves going through a PowerPoint/range of activities she has created for me. We go through different topics present, past and future tenses. Then she makes me do the exercises either a written down exercise or a speaking exercise.

What’s great about Maria is she is native Spanish speaker with a high quality and effective teaching skills.
