About Olivia
I am currently studying for an MRes in Molecular Biology at Imperial College, London. I have taught biology in the classroom to students aged 9-16, and received excellent class engagement and parent feedback. I have also worked with many students, both from the UK and international, through their A-level examinations and University Admissions processes.

My teaching method is based on the Oxford Tutorial System, meaning that it is based around an exchange of ideas between the tutor and the student. By being prompted to explain their reasoning and defend their ideas, the student is encouraged to reach answers independently, with support from myself.
I have experience creating comprehensive resources that help students to organise their thoughts when answering exam questions, writing essays or crafting university applications. I am also highly organised and methodical in my teaching and the manner in which I set out ideas.
