About Molly
I am a teacher and Oxford University Literature graduate offering lessons in GCSE and A Level English Language and Literature. I am a tutor with over 4 years experience tutoring, and over a years experience working in a top academy school in West London (Ark Soane Academy). I have the skills and experience to help you achieve top grades in English.
Having graduated from Oxford University with a high 2.1 (67) in English Language and Literature, I know what it takes to excel in the subject. At school, I achieved 3 A*'s at A Level, one of which being in English lit. I also won the Henley College Education Award 2020 for English Literature. At GCSE, I achieved 12 GCSEs grade 7-9, including two 9's in English Language and Literature.
I am a very passionate, down to earth teacher who has current, first hand knowledge of the GCSE, A Level, and Undergraduate teaching systems. I am therefore able to give direct advice to help students gain the top marks and thrive in the subject. I can also offer lessons to help prepare students for Oxbridge entrance exams and interviews, having successfully completed the process myself.

I am able to give help and feedback through exploring the student’s required texts, enabling them to gain the skills and knowledge required to perform under exam pressure. I will also practise using sample papers and my own studies to give feedback, ways to improve and correct responses. There will also be elements of discussion in the classes, enabling the student to confidently talk through their work and analytical ideas.
