About Simran
Hi! I'm Simran and I recently graduated from Brasenose College, University of Oxford with a 2.1 in Law (Jurisprudence).
I have an A in A Level Maths.
I know it can be intimidating approaching Maths by yourself, but I also know that with some reassurance and with someone to guide you through, anyone can succeed :))
Having mentored younger students at school, as well as frequently helped out my classmates (and tutored my younger sister), I've developed a knack for explaining things clearly and in a way that everyone can understand (eventually!!!).
I've also had lots of practice studying and tried out loads of different techniques. This means I will be able to help you understand the concepts and actually give you ways to remember and apply them to new maths problems.

Before our sessions I'll make sure I've gone over the topics and looked up the exam board specification. My sessions will be quite flexible, and I'll be sure to adjust my teaching style to how you learn best: for instance, through a mix of examples, working through exam questions, mini-quizzes to test understanding etc.
