About Liberty
I'm an Oxford Classics graduate currently undertaking a philosophy Master's at Trinity College Dublin. I have worked in a variety of educational settings and have always enjoyed working with children and young people, so it seemed only natural that I should continue to work in this field while I continue my own studies. I am passionate about Classics, Philosophy and English Literature and hope that I would be able to encourage some of that passion in my students and help them to become more confident in these subjects.

I have experience tutoring both children and adults, and am happy to teach my subjects at any level. Typical lessons are one hour, but I can be flexible with that depending on the needs of the student - with younger children I tend to include a short break in the middle. I have experience working with students with autism and ADHD and pride myself on tailoring the style and content of my lessons to the specific requirements of the individual student. I believe it is important for them to have an engaging and enjoyable experience as well as an educational one. With Latin and Greek in particular, I check which textbook(s) the student is using at school/college to ensure that my teaching complements that, and to make sure I use familiar language and examples to streamline the experience and avoid unnecessary confusion.
