About Philippa
I’m a Oxford Graduate with a passion for exploring news ideas and sharing knowledge. For me, Economics is about understanding the way we interact with the world and how we can affect it ourselves. I strongly believe we must learn Economics critically and, by going back to basics, we can a) understand the subject better and b) develop our ideas even further with new solutions.
I have studied Economics at university level, carrying out an experiment in Behavioural Economics and taking a course in Economic History to improve my perspective of the subject as a whole.

Economics is all about how we can influence our actual lives, so I teach with a constant awareness of what economic concepts mean for the real world. I work to improve the tangibility of Economics to help your understanding of the material.
I will tailor our sessions to your personal goals, whether to improve content understanding, essay writing skills, or exam technique. I have achieved A* in an Economics A Level and a First at university level so can teach both from experience of the exam system and of the wider subject.
