About Zi Ning
Hi! I am a final year student at Oxford studying law. I also received admissions into KCL and Durham, scoring 34/42 on the LNAT. I understand that admissions periods can be incredibly stressful and am looking to support others. I have a student-focused practice, where I provide structure but prioritise the needs and concerns of students. I tend to start lessons with an open forum for students to voice their primary concern if any. If there is an area that students feel they need to address, we focus the lesson on that first. I can provide in-depth personal statement feedback and suggestions, pointing out areas for development and structure improvements. I also provide oxbridge-style law mock interviews.
LNAT specific:
General lesson structure: Lessons are typically one hour long, split into two sections. Every lesson will consist of an in-depth review of the essay they will have written before. This is followed by MCQ extract practice and explanation where we go through questions together. We will end with general questions.
Initial sessions: Over the first two weeks, I have students take an official practice test to get a sense of the baseline. The first lesson is explanation of techniques for MCQ and the essay. If we have time we will go through an MCQ extract together to demonstrate the type of reasoning necessary.
