About Annabella
A bit more about me - I am a recent Oxford graduate with a Master of Engineering in Materials Science. Despite the challenges of dyslexia and my journey through state schools, I was able to achieve 4 A*s in maths, further maths, physics and chemistry. Throughout my academic journey, I have learnt many effective studying techniques I am keen to pass on to my students.

With a robust teaching experience spanning over six years, I've had the privilege of tutoring/mentoring more than 100 students, ranging in age from 6 to 19. I have helped students improve their grades in maths and science substantially and have also given guidance and support to those entering the next stage of higher education. I have an adaptable teaching style as I believe one size does not fit all. I aim to comprehend their individual objectives, motivations, and foundational grasp of the subject, to allow me to customise my lessons to meet their unique needs. My lessons are typically an hour long but I am always happy to adapt this to be longer or shorter depending on the student's needs.

Annabella is brilliant! I had A-level further maths lessons with her and I went from getting Ds and Cs to getting an A* after a few months of working together. She's super kind, patient and very good at calmly explaining everything.
I highly recommend Annabella as a tutor. She taught my daughter to prepare for her A’level maths exam. Annabella has a warm friendly manner who explained maths in a way that was logical to understand for my daughter who had been struggling previously.
Annabella has helped me for many years from my GSCE’s in Maths, Chemistry and Physics to then when I took A level maths. As someone who prefers English related subjects, without Annabella’s help I would have really struggled.
