About Lusine
I am a mathematician with a deep love for science, and I genuinely believe that science and music are two of the best things in the world :)
I teach because I enjoy helping people reach the moment when something suddenly clicks. This “aha” moment happens when an idea finally makes sense and abstract mathematics starts to feel extremely elegant.
Learning is not always easy, especially in mathematics, but it can be incredibly rewarding with the right guidance and mindset. I try to create a friendly environment where even the “stupid” questions are welcome, because they usually are not stupid at all. Through my teaching, I hope to inspire curiosity about mathematics, life, the universe, and the world around us.

I believe that truly understanding a topic starts with asking “how” or "why". Once a student can formalise a question on the topic, that is when I believe that they are very close to internalising the material. For me, learning is about developing intuition by asking questions, exploring ideas from different angles, and building confidence in the reasoning behind them.
I mainly teach GCSE-level and undergraduate Mathematics and Computer Science. I have worked with more than 70 students through teaching and tutoring, and I genuinely find the process very fulfilling. I enjoy helping students go from feeling stuck or intimidated by a topic to feeling comfortable enough to think beyond the material.
