About Sylvia
Hi, I am Sylvia. I am here to teach Chinese Calligraphy. I am also a final-year PhD candidate at the University of Oxford, where I am studying sustainable urban development. I have been passionate about Chinese calligraphy since I was six years old, and have since developed my skills to the point of winning several awards in China. I have found that studying calligraphy has not only taught me the value of patience, discipline, and focus, but has also served as a creative outlet and a way to promote mental well-being.
As a Chinese calligraphy teacher, I am eager to share my knowledge and passion for this ancient art form with others. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, I believe that calligraphy can be a rewarding and enriching pursuit that provides insights into Chinese culture and history. I look forward to helping you develop your skills, explore your creativity, and deepen your appreciation for the aesthetics and philosophy of Chinese calligraphy.
