About Ali
I am a PhD researcher organic chemistry, with a Masters in Chemistry from the University of Oxford. I tutor chemistry and maths to GCSE, A-level, and undergraduate students. Apart from the UK, I also work with students abroad, especially in the USA, Canada, and Honk Kong.

I have tutored for maths, further maths, and chemistry for three years. Some of my past students have gone to Cambridge (Economics), Oxford (Medicine, chemistry ), the USA (medicine, dentistry), Germany (chemistry), and many other universities within the UK.
My approach to lessons is to tailor the content to the students needs. During term time we will focus on understanding the material and getting better at problem solving, and during exam season we will focus on improving exam technique and answering past papers.
One reason most of my students achieve and exceed their target grades is due to my intimate knowledge of the curriculum. At this point I have tutored most exam boards.
The second reason is that I have both set and marked exams in the past, so I know what it takes to pass and achieve top marks in examinations.
