About Caitlin
I am a third year Physicist at the University of Oxford. I have previously tutored students in Physics, Maths and Geography GCSEs helping 100% of them achieve at least a grade higher than they were predicted. I have been a mentor for UNIQ, the only Oxford University endorsed summer school for sixth form students. I also have a full DBS background check.

I provide one-to-one (and would be willing to work with larger groups) lessons up to A-level standard.
I find it most useful to structure lessons as such:
- Initially discuss the relevant topic with the student more broadly so that, a) they have the opportunity to develop a deeper appreciation for the concept, b) they can raise any queries or issues they might have, and c) I can assess their knowledge and get a feel for the style of support required.
-Then progress to some relevant problems / question sets to be worked through together, so that technique and a discussion-based approach to the solution can be utilised.
- Move forwards to some problems set at the previous class and completed in advanced to check grasp of earlier concepts.
- Finish with a final summary of what was covered in the class and set work for the next meeting.
