About Anoop
Summer 2018: Camp Greenwood
Spent a Summer in China where I worked at a Summer Camp which had an emphasis on English teaching. After completing paperwork I will be certified with a TEFL by the end of the year.
2017-2018: Rose Hill Primary School:
Project Coordinator/ Schools Plus Tutor – Volunteering weekly, working with a small group of Year 6 pupils to improve mathematics competency in an area known locally to be at an academic disadvantage. I have completed a DBS Check for this role.
2016 -2017: GCSE Mathematics Tutor:
Prepared material weekly, providing support and focused practice for year 11 student. Improved pupil’s result by two grades.
2015 – 2016: Northgate High School:
Science Buddies Scheme – During my A levels, I volunteered to be a class room assistant for a year 7 class (11-12-year olds) during my free periods. This inspired me to explore possibilities within teaching.
I am very approachable, having just completed my school studies myself, I'm aware of the academic challenges you will have to face. My main goal is to create an academic environment where a student can truly meet their potential.

I am currently on a gap year from my second year at Oxford University, studying for an MPhys. I achieved 9A*2A at GCSE and 4A*s at ALevel at Northgate High School.
I offer GCSE and A level Core Mathematics and Physics. I can also offer advice with Oxbridge/ Russell Group University applications for Year 12s having just gone through the application process.
(I am also open to teach Primary school maths upon request)
My tutoring approach is relaxed but effective, tailored to the students needs. An emphasis on DOING maths/physics in a structured environment, not just reading a textbook.
